Lecturer in Computing
Salary £42,500 - £47,450 per annum

The Department of Computing at Imperial is one of the largest  
computing departments in the UK and is a world leader in academic  
research in computer science. It is unique in the UK in supporting  
world-class fundamental research across the full range of areas in  
Computer Science. In addition the Department is embedded in the  
largest Engineering Faculty in the country, with all academic  
departments being located on a single campus. This concentration of  
talent across Computing and Engineering as a whole creates a  
stimulating and vibrant research culture that promotes  
multidisciplinary collaborations and attracts internationally leading  
researchers and scholars.

Research is structured around the research themes of Computer Systems,  
Human Centred Computing, Logic and Artificial Intelligence, Theory of  
Computational Systems, Quantitative Analysis and Optimization,  
Distributed Software Engineering and Visual Information Processing.

Applications are invited for a Lecturer position in the Department of  
Computing in any of the above areas. Candidates should have a PhD (or  
equivalent) in an appropriate computing subject. The post holder is  
expected to have a proven international record relevant to the above  
areas and will be expected to play a full part in the teaching and
