[ITMUE-11 Call for Papers]




           The 2011 FTRA International Workshop on Information Technology

                 and Multimedia for Ubiquitous Environments (ITMUE 2011)



                Gwangju, Korea, 20-22 October, 2011


                  In conjunction with IRoA 2011










The 2011 International Workshop on Information Technology and Multimedia
for Ubiquitous Environments will be held in KwangJu, Korea on 20-22,
October, 2011.

ITMUE is the premier scientific meeting for discussing the latest advances
in the area of information technology and multimedia. 

The purpose of ITMUE is to bring together researchers and practitioners
from academia and industry. We are soliciting original papers that address

a wide range of issues in , next generation web technology and multimedia
data processing, and including, but not limited to:


- Data Management in Mobile P2P Systems

- Agent-Based Trust Management

- Decentralized Trust Management

- Contextual Social Network Analysis

- Cognitive models of trust

- Reputation Mechanisms

- Social Trust Management

- Multimedia Data Mining

- Personal Multimedia Content Management

- Context and Content-based Approaches to Multimedia Retrieval

- Infrastructures for Multimedia Data 

 - Privacy and Security in Mobile Environment

- Real-world applications



  Important Dates


Paper submission due: May 31, 2011 

Notification of acceptance:  July 10, 2011

Camera-ready paper & early registration due: August 1, 2011

Workshop: October 20 - 22, 2011



Paper Submissions and Proceedings  


There will be a combination of presentations including scientific papers.
Prospective authors are invited, in the first instance, to submit papers
for oral presentations in any of the areas of interest 

for this workshop. Authors should submit a paper with 6-8 pages in length,
including all figures, tables, and references. If you want to submit more
than page limitation, you can add up to 2 extra 

pages with the appropriate fee payment. 


Papers must strictly adhere to page limits as follows. 

- Full Paper: 8 pages (Max 2 extra pages allowed at additional cost) 

- Regular Paper: 6 pages (Max 2 extra pages allowed at additional cost) 

- Poster Paper: 2 pages (FTRA Publishing Proceeding with ISBN) 

Papers exceeding the page limits will be rejected without review.

Distinguished papers accepted and presented in ITMUE-11, after further
revisions, will be published in the special issues of the following
