Call for Papers
Traditional requirements engineering (RE) techniques have difficulties
scaling up to settings in which thousands or even millions of stakeholders
form a large, anonymous and heterogeneous group, denoted as crowd¹.
Researchers have identified several issues with applying RE in such crowd¹
settings. Initial methods and tools have been proposed, but we see the need
for more tailored and holistic approaches for crowd-based RE.
The workshop on Crowd-Based Requirements Engineering (CrowdRE) aims at
initiating, facilitating, and nurturing the discussion on this subject
matter. Original submissions from research and practice in two main
categories are welcome:
- Competition Papers describing a solution idea to a reference problem
scenario (available at http://www.sse.uni-due.de/crowdre15);
- General submissions (Technical solution papers; Problem statements; Vision
statements; and Experience report)
Important Dates
- Paper Submission: January 16th, 2015
- Notification: February 6th, 2015
- Camera-ready Due: February 20th, 2015
