KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, invites applications for a
full-time tenure-track assistant professor position in Computer
Science with specialization in Software Technology, starting in the
second half of 2015. The subject encompasses "design, analysis, tools
and methods for the development of software for software intensive
systems." In addition to this position, one or more positions at
associate professor level in the same area (Software Technology) is
likely to be announced soon.
The new assistant professor will receive a four-year starting grant,
and permanent base funding if they qualify as associate professors.

The position can be hosted at several departments within KTH,
including the department of Theoretical Computer Science (the TCS
group). The TCS group has a strong academic record and good external
funding from EU and national sources. There is active research in both
foundational topics such as (complexity theory, logic, formal methods)
and more applied ones such as (computer security, cryptography,
programming languages, databases, natural languages, computer science
education).
