CALL FOR PAPERS
********************************************************************************
SPECIAL SESSION ON LEARNING MODELING IN COMPLEX ORGANIZATIONS - LMCO 2016
Within the 4th International Conference on
Model-Driven Engineering and Software Development - MODELSWARD 2016
19 February, 2016 - Rome (Italy)
http://www.modelsward.org/LMCO.aspx
********************************************************************************
In modern competitive society both public and private organizations are
under pressure to constantly improve the efficiency and quality of their
services, while decreasing budget. The key resource is the people, who
are challenged to master latest technologies, procedures and rules
within tight time constraints. Models can help to manage and represent
complex pieces of information and their relations. Flexible, adaptive
and enhanced learning processes that can be adopted at work are key to
success. LMCO'16 targets researchers and practitioners on innovative
technology-enhanced learning solutions for complex organizations to
disseminate and exchange ideas, identify relevant open issues, explore
possible solutions and their assessment. We target, in particular, the
cross-fertilization of at least the communities related to business
modeling, learning, and enterprise engineering.
TOPICS
Contributions are solicited from both academia and industry about the
following (non-exhaustive) list of topics:
- modeling techniques in learning
- business modeling
- enterprise architecture modeling
- knowledge-intensive processes
- e-learning
- simulation-based learning
- automated quality assessment
- natural language processing
- learning KPIs
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers in any of the topics
listed above. Instructions for preparing the manuscript (in Word and
Latex formats) are available at: Paper Templates Please also check the
Guidelines and Templates. Papers should be submitted electronically via
the web-based submission system at: http://www.insticc.org/Primoris
PUBLICATIONS
Each submitted paper will undergo a formal double-blind peer review
process by at least 3 members of the LMCO Program Committee.
Contributions should represent original and previously unpublished ideas
that are currently not under review in any conference or journal. To
facilitate the double-blind paper evaluation method, authors are kindly
requested to produce the paper WITHOUT any reference to any of the
authors, including the authors’ personal details, the acknowledgments
section of the paper and any other reference that may disclose the
authors’ identity. All accepted papers will be published in a special
section of the conference proceedings book. It is planned to publish a
short list of revised and extended versions of presented papers with
Springer in a CCIS Series book (final approval pending).
