The SEA Group is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Model-Driven Engineering. The positions are available from June 2017.

The successful candidates will work under the supervision of Prof. Alfonso Pierantonio (http://bit.ly/APierantonio <http://bit.ly/APierantonio>). The topic of the research, to be determined based on the common interests of the candidate and the supervisor, will be in the areas of complex model management (transformations, bidirectionality, co-evolution), traceability, repository mining and search, and the general (conceptual, theoretical, and practical) development of MDE Forge (http://www.mdeforge.org <http://www.mdeforge.org/>).

Candidates should have a PhD degree in related fields and a good publication record. Experience in collaborative research projects and in supervising masters and undergraduate students will constitute a preferential element. The positions require good teamwork and communication skills, including excellent spoken and written English (knowledge of Italian is not required).

The position is initially for one year, with possible extension to two years.

The SEA Group investigates research topics related to Software Engineering and Architecture, both from a functional and non-functional viewpoint. The SEA Group is involved in several national and international projects and has developed a solid research and development experience in software engineering by mainly focusing on software architectures, model-driven development, analysis and evolution of open source software, component-based programming, internet-based programming, and verification issues.

Inquiries and expressions of interest, including a curriculum vitae, a list of publications (with a shortlist of the three most important papers), and an outline of prospective research (no more than one page) should be sent by e-mail to Prof. Alfonso Pierantonio (alfonso.pierantonio at univaq.it <mailto:alfonso.pierantonio at univaq.it>).

Deadline for submissions: March 5, 2017 (submissions received after that date are welcome and will be considered as long as the position will still be available).
