EuroSys 2019 Calls
----------------------------------------

EuroSys 2019 is a premier international forum for presenting computer systems
research, broadly construed. It is also one of the flagship event of ACM
SIGOPS, the Special Interest Group in Operating Systems. It is organized by the
European SIGOPS chapter of the same name.

The next edition of EuroSys will take place in Dresden, Germany from 25 to 28
March, 2019. The general chair is Christof Fetzer from TU Dresden.

EuroSys 2019 has several open calls. Some have upcoming deadlines, including
its main call for papers, a call for organizing workshops with the conference,
and the call for participation to the EuroSys shadow committee.

===== EuroSys 2019 call for paper =====

EuroSys 2019 seeks papers on all areas of computer systems research.

Deadline for abstracts is September 24, 2018. Full papers are due by
October 1st 2018. These deadlines are strict.

PC co-chairs are George Candea from EPFL and Robbert van Renesse from
Cornell University.

The Call for Papers is available at:
https://www.eurosys2019.org/call-for-papers/

The list of Program Committee members is available at:

===== EuroSys 2019 call for workshops =====

In continuation of a successful tradition, EuroSys 2019 will feature a number
of workshops. The purpose of workshops is to provide a forum for exchanging
opinions, presenting ideas, and discussing preliminary results in an
interactive atmosphere.

Workshops proposals are due by October 10, 2018.

Workshops chair for EuroSys 2019 are Evangelia Kalyvianaki from the University
of Cambridge and Rüdiger Kapitza from TU Braunschweig.

Conditions and details for submitting a workshop proposal are available at:
https://www.eurosys2019.org/call-for-workshops/

===== EuroSys 2019 call for shadow PC participation =====

As in previous years, EuroSys 2019 will organize a shadow PC in parallel of the
main PC. The purpose of the shadow PC is to allow young systems researchers to
get first-hand experience of a top conference paper selection process.
Participating to the shadow PC is a demanding but very rewarding experience. We
encourage senior researchers to publicize this opportunity to young researchers
around them.

Applications to the shadow PC are due by September 9, 2018.

EuroSys 2019 shadow PC co-chairs are Cristiano Giuffrida from VU Amsterdam and
François Taïani from Univ Rennes, CNRS, Inria, IRISA.

Conditions for applying are available at:
https://www.eurosys2019.org/call-for-shadow-pc-participation/

===== EuroSys 2019 call for posters =====

The EuroSys 2019 poster track provides an opportunity to engage with attendees
on the material presented in the talks, present early-stage work, and receive
feedback from the systems community.

EuroSys 2019 poster chair is Andrey Brito from University Federal de Campina
Grande (UFCG), Brazil.

Poster submissions are due by January 23, 2019, see conditions at:
https://www.eurosys2019.org/call-for-posters/

===== Other ways to participate =====

EuroSys 2019 will feature other ways to get involved, including a doctoral
workshop. Details will be posted on the website and on social media.
