Dear all,

we would like you to know that SoSyM, the Springer Journal on Software and Systems Modeling is expanding. The SoSyM impact factor has recently increased to 2.7. Because SoSyM is a successful journal, Springer and the editors have now decided to adapt some of the policy to current needs. 

Based on this success we have adapted the print policy such that papers accepted are now printed within the next issue (i.e. usually within 2 months).

SoSyM is meant to stay the primary venue for all research results focussing on models, modelling languages, use of models e.g.  for transformation, simulation and synthesis.

SoSyM consists of regular papers, expert voices and special issues, for example

SoSyM also has a close link to the ACM/IEEE MODELS conference: You can submit at SoSyM first and can then be selected for presentation at MODELS.  Please also come to MODELS to see the best SoSyM papers awards being handed over.
