Multiple funded PhD positions are available in the Ambient Intelligence Lab (AMI-Lab) at the University of Sherbrooke (https://ami.usherbrooke.ca).

Research topic list includes, but not limited to:

-       User behavior modeling in a smart city

-       Unobtrusive IoT based health monitoring

-       Unobtrusive IoT based Sleep monitoring

-       Agent based context Awareness platform for IoT

-       IoT / Cloud platform for smart ci

-       ty, personalized health and well being

-       Adaptable Context-Aware Cooking-Safe System

-       Dynamic domain model for micro context-aware application adaptation in smart city

-       Context-Aware in-Person Social Activity Recommendation System for seniors

-       A Micro Context-Aware Agents for Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) in Smart cities

The ideal candidate would have outstanding background in computer systems, distributed/mobile computing, C++ / Python programming, Semantic Web, Internet of Things, and RESTful design.
