It will also open a space to discuss the impact of communications in the Latin American region. The main topic of LATINCOM 2010 will be “GREEN TECHNOLOGIES FOR A BETTER WORLD” and how communications and related areas can support this concept.</DIV>

<DIV>The papers must be submitted in pdf format using the paper submission page. Papers must be presented in standard IEEE double-column format. Only six (6) pages are allowed for paper. The illustrations and the references are included in the page count.</DIV>

<DIV>CALL FOR TUTORIALS PROPOSALS</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>IEEE LATINCOM2010 invites submission of tutorial proposals between 4 and 8 hours (half-day and full-day tutorials) of length to be presented on September 13 and 14. The proposals will be evaluated based on the importance, timeliness, and conference coverage of the topic, and track record of the instructor. </DIV>
<DIV>Required information in the proposal (up to 3 pages): Title and abstract, detailed outline of topics, preferred length, full contact information of speaker(s), biography of speaker(s), and history of the tutorial presentation.
