<p>The School of Computer Science and Technology at the Huazhong University<br>of Science and Technology invites outstanding individuals to apply for<br>several faculty positions at the rank of assistant or associate or full<br>
professor.</p>
<p>The prospective applicant should have a PhD or postdoctoral experience.<br>We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in embedded<br>systems, pervasive and mobile computing & networking, as well as<br>
parallel and distributed computing, and especially those who bridge two<br>or more of these areas. Moreover, applicants must have potential or<br>proven ability to carry out independent research work. In addition,<br>excellent communication and teaching skills are also required.</p>
<p>The successful applicants will join the newly established Embedded and<br>PervasIve Computing Lab (EPICLab). High level research<br>will be conducted in the lab, and the academic atmosphere is free and<br>open. In particular, the salary and startup package are very<br>
competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience.</p>
<p>The Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is a national<br>key university directly under the administration of the Ministry of<br>Education of China, and is among the first Universities joining the<br>national “211 Project” and “985 Project”. The School of Computer<br>
Science and Technology is among one of the largest and strongest ones in<br>China.</p>
