SCOPE AND AIMS
<br>
<br>
The 12th joint ACM SIGMETRICS / Performance conference solicits
papers on
<br>
the development and application of state-of-the-art, broadly
applicable
<br>
analytic, simulation and measurement-based performance evaluation
<br>
techniques. Of particular interest is work that presents new
performance
<br>
evaluation methods or that creatively applies previously developed
methods
<br>
to make predictions about, or gain insights into key design
trade-offs in,
<br>
computer and networked systems. The main conference will last
three days,
<br>
12-14 June 2012, and have two keynote speakers. A day of tutorials
and
<br>
a day of workshops will precede and follow the main conference.
<br>
<br>
The notion of performance is broadly construed - including
considerations
<br>
of speed and scalability as well as reliability, availability,
<br>
sustainability and manageability of systems. We encourage both
theoretical
<br>
contributions and submissions relating to real world empirical
studies or
<br>
focusing on implementation and experimental issues.
<br>

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
<br>
<br>
PAPERS:
<br>
Papers should not exceed 12 double column pages, including figures
and
<br>
tables in standard ACM format. In addition, a 2-page appendix is
permitted,
<br>
where the appendix does not count towards the original 12 pages.
<br>
<br>
All submissions will be reviewed using a double-blind review
process.
<br>

WORKSHOPS:

Workshop proposals are solicited for the day following the main
conference,
<br>
June 15, 2012. Send 1-2 page proposals to the General Chair
