Still, other areas of<br>competence will also be considered, since qualifications take<br>precedence over specialization.<br><br>Responsibilities include: build a high-quality research programme<br>through acquisition of funding, publications, and supervisision of<br>Master and PhD students; deliver and develop innovative courses in<br>Computer Science ( <a href="http://www.uclouvain.be/en-info.html">http://www.uclouvain.be/en-info.html</a> ), at both<br>undergraduate and graduate levels. Undergraduate-level courses are<br>taught in French and graduate-level ones in English.<br><br>With more than 40 professors and more than 200 researchers, ICTEAM hosts<br>world-class researchers who carry out both basic and applied research in<br>key fields of information and communication technologies,<br>electronics, computer science and applied mathematics. UCL is Belgium's<br>largest French-speaking university. It was founded in 1425 and is<br>located in the pedestrian town of Louvain-la-Neuve 25 kms southeast of<br>Brussels, the capital of Belgium, in the heart of Europe.
