<div>EDCC-2014 is inviting proposals for one-day and half-day high-quality workshops in </div>
<div>the area of dependability. Proposals may be on any topic related to dependability, </div>
<div>with a particular interest in emerging areas.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>EDCC Workshops will take place one day before the main conference in Newcastle </div>
<div>upon Tyne, UK, on May 13, 2014.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Workshop proposals (not exceeding three pages, 11pt) should include </div>
<div>the following information:</div>
<div> - The title of the workshop</div>
<div> - A technical description of the workshop topic area</div>
<div> - A short description of the intended length and format of the workshop</div>
<div> - A brief statement of the relevance of the workshop to EDCC</div>
<div> - A short description of previous editions of the workshop, if they existed</div>
<div> - The names and e-mail addresses of the organizing committee</div>
<div> - A list of proposed program committee members</div>

<div>Accepted workshops will organize their own publicity, submissions and peer-review </div>
<div>procedures. They should provide their own web page, which will be linked from </div>
<div>the EDCC 2014 web site. Workshop organisers will be responsible for preparing </div>
<div>the papers for their workshops in the form required. The EDCC organisation team </div>
<div>will provide companion proceedings by publishing all workshop papers available </div>
<div>in the ACM Computing Research Repository (CoRR) <a href="http://www.acm.org/corr/">http://www.acm.org/corr/</a>. </div>

<div>Conference background</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>EDCC is the leading European conference for presenting and discussing the latest </div>
<div>research in dependable computing. As in previous years, its tenth edition aims at </div>
<div>providing a European-hosted venue for researchers and practitioners from all over </div>
<div>the world to present and discuss their latest research results on dependability, </div>
<div>security, fault-tolerance, and testing. Topics include theory, techniques, systems, </div>
<div>and tools for the design, validation, operation and evaluation of dependable and </div>
<div>secure computing systems, covering any fault model, from traditional hardware </div>
<div>and software faults to accidental and malicious human interactions.</div>
