<div dir="ltr"><div>The programming language and systems group at UC Irvine is seeking qualified candidates for a <span>postdoctoral</span> researcher <span>position</span>
in the broad area of software and systems optimizations (of particular
interest is the optimization of data-intensive systems). The <span>position</span> is funded by ONR and NSF.<br>

The ideal candidate should have strong background in programming
languages, compilers, or systems. Good knowledge of big data and
large-scale graph processing is
a plus. Background must be demonstrated by a PhD completed in a
relevant area and publications in top tier (PL and systems) venues. <br>
<br>
Applicants must be proficient in spoken and written
scientific English, have excellent communication skills and be creative.
Appointments will be initially for a one year period and will be
renewable. Competitive salary will be offered, depending on experience
and qualification. <br><br>Candidates are requested to submit their
