<div><br>
</div>
<div>The CP conference is the annual international conference on constraint</div>
<div>programming. It is concerned with all aspects of computing with</div>
<div>constraints, including theory, algorithms, environments, languages,</div>
<div>models, systems, and applications such as decision making, resource </div>
<div>allocation, scheduling, configuration, and planning.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>The CP 2015 programme will include presentations of high quality </div>
<div>scientific research papers and applications of constraints technology. </div>
<div>A number of invited talks will also be presented that will describe </div>
<div>important topics relevant to the field. As well as the usual workshop, </div>
<div>tutorial and doctoral programmes, we will repeat last year's published </div>
<div>journal paper track in which important results that have recently </div>
<div>appeared in journals will be presented, and introduce to this conference </div>
<div>a journal publication fast track for outstanding submissions. Special</div>
<div>events are also planned as part of an industry outreach.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>---------------</div>
<div>TECHNICAL TRACK</div>
<div>---------------</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We solicit papers that report on significant, original, and previously </div>
<div>unpublished research on all aspects of computing with constraints. Full </div>
<div>paper submissions are limited to 15 LNCS pages plus references while short </div>
<div>paper submissions are limited to 8 LNCS pages plus references. Short </div>
<div>papers will be reviewed to the same standards of quality as full papers </div>
<div>but are not expected to contain as much original material. Short papers </div>
<div>will have the same status as long papers and be eligible for the best </div>
<div>paper prize.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>-----------------</div>
<div>APPLICATION TRACK</div>
<div>-----------------</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We encourage industrial and academic users of constraint technology to </div>
<div>submit papers on completed or on-going practical projects. Papers </div>
<div>comparing constraint technology to other optimization techniques (MIP, </div>
<div>local search, SAT, etc.) on a realistic application with a sound </div>
<div>experimental evaluation are also encouraged. Papers which clearly define </div>
<div>users' benefits, describe the required effort to build the application </div>
<div>and the time frame in which it was delivered, will match the acceptance </div>
<div>criteria most closely. The novelty of the application domain, while </div>
<div>potentially a plus, is not the only deciding acceptance criterion. </div>
<div>Application papers will be reviewed by a program committee with </div>
<div>significant experience in the use of CP in applications. The writing of </div>
<div>the paper should be guided by providing answers to four main questions: </div>
<div>Problem being solved? Why CP? How CP? Added value of CP?</div>
<div>Formatting, length, and dates for submissions are the same as for the</div>
<div>technical track.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>-----------------------------</div>
<div>PUBLISHED JOURNAL PAPER TRACK</div>
<div>-----------------------------</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>The goal of this track is to provide a forum to discuss important results </div>
<div>in the area of constraint programming that appeared or were accepted </div>
<div>recently (from September 2013) in relevant journals, but have not been </div>
<div>previously presented at CP, CPAIOR, or any major AI conference. Authors of </div>
<div>accepted papers will be invited to give an oral presentation at the </div>
<div>conference and to provide a one-page abstract citing their journal paper </div>
<div>for the conference proceedings.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Papers that are in press may be submitted as long as the final camera-ready </div>
<div>version is available at the time of the conference. Extensions of papers </div>
<div>that have been previously presented in the main technical or application</div>
<div>programmes at CP, CPAIOR, or another major AI conference (such as IJCAI, </div>
<div>AAAI, ECAI) cannot be submitted to this track. Submissions will go through </div>
<div>an expedited selection process. Selection criteria include significance of </div>
<div>the results and relevance to the constraint programming community.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>------------------------------</div>
<div>JOURNAL PUBLICATION FAST TRACK</div>
<div>------------------------------</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Outstanding submissions to the technical or application tracks will be </div>
<div>offered the opportunity to be published exclusively through a fast-track </div>
<div>process in the Constraints journal: following a second round of minor</div>
<div>review they will be accepted directly in the journal by the time of the </div>
<div>conference. Authors of these papers can opt to extend their paper from 15 </div>
<div>to 20 pages plus references. These papers will be acknowledged through a </div>
<div>one-page abstract in the conference proceedings and will be presented </div>
<div>during the conference on the same ground as any other accepted submission. </div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Authors who decline to fast track their submission revert to a standard </div>
<div>conference submission and are subject to the default formatting, length </div>
<div>and date requirements. Papers that do not clear the second round of </div>
<div>review also revert to standard conference paper status.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>----------------------</div>
<div>CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS</div>
<div>----------------------</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>The conference proceedings will be published by Springer in the Lecture </div>
<div>Notes in Computer Science series. It will contain the accepted papers </div>
<div>that appear in the scientific/technical and application tracks, as well </div>
<div>as abstracts of invited talks, of contributions to the published journal </div>
<div>paper track, and of selections for the journal publication fast track.</div>
