<p class="MsoPlainText" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Times","serif"">Since 2009, MDM's PhD Forum has provided matriculated doctoral students and recent PhD graduates with an opportunity to present their dissertation
research, including work in progress, in all areas of mobile data management. The key objective of the forum is to encourage the interaction among PhD students and researchers from academia, industry, and government. The 2015 event will be organized as an
MDM poster session and extended abstracts will appear in the proceedings of the conference.

<p class="MsoPlainText" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Times","serif"">Both, researchers currently enrolled in doctoral programs and graduates who completed their PhD dissertations since July 2014, are encouraged to submit
extended abstracts. Submissions should be singled-authored while contributions of advisers and others may be acknowledged in the abstract. A peer-review process will ensure quality and relevance.

<p class="MsoPlainText" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Times","serif"">Authors of accepted submissions are expected to travel to MDM 2015 to present their poster at the forum. To foster participations of junior researchers
to the main MDM events, a special student rate for conference registration will be applied to the authors of accepted submissions. In addition, a number of best poster awards will be given to the most innovative ideas/efforts presented at the PhD Forum.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Times","serif"">PhD students and recent graduates are invited to submit two-page extended abstracts that describe current research and potential contributions to theory,
practice and innovation in mobile data management. Submissions must be received by no later than February 20<sup>th</sup>, 2015. Extended abstracts should include author's name, affiliation, and email address. Contributions must be written in English and be
in PDF format. Submissions should be no more than two pages in length (all inclusive) and adhere to the IEEE two-column conference format.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
