INRIA Grenoble organizes the third winter school on Hot Topics
in Distributed Computing. This winter school will take place in La Plagne,
in the French Alps, from March 7th to March 12th 2010.

This winter school will feature a series of talks by renowned researchers in
distributed computing, from both a theoretical and a practical perspective.

This year's topics will include theory of distributed computing, measurement
and analysis of networked systems, operating systems for multicore
platforms, domain specific languages, distributed data management,
verification, and security.

- Krishna P. Gummadi (MPI SWS)
- Rebecca Isaacs (Microsoft Research, Cambridge)
- Gilles Muller (INRIA)
- Fernando Pedone (University of Lugano)
- Andrey Rybalchenko (MPI SWS)
- Vitaly Shmatikov (University of Texas at Austin)

PhD students will have the opportunity to get feedback on their
work. Students are invited to submit a 1-page abstract motivating the main
research challenge they are addressing and stating the approach being taken.
A selection of proposals will be chosen for presentation. To submit an
