The AOSD.11 Organizing Committee invites proposals for tutorials to be held
in conjunction with the AOSD.11 conference. We seek to offer a high-quality
tutorial program covering the state of the art on advanced modularization
paradigms and techniques, which are not limited to aspects. We emphasize
advanced separation of concerns and software modularity for extensibility,
flexibility, and adaptability, with topics of interest for participants with
intermediate to advanced knowledge of the subject.

Tutorials should address advanced techniques, applications, and emerging
opportunities in advanced software modularization techniques and related
areas. Each submission will be evaluated according to the value and
relevance of its topic to conference attendees, the expertise and experience
of the presenters, and the completeness and overall quality of the tutorial
proposal.

Tutorial proposals should be for a half-day, which is 3 hours excluding
breaks. For topics that do not fit well into a half-day format we invite
proposals for combined half-day tutorials where a participant can choose to
join for only the first half or both halves.

** Topics **

Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

* Software engineering, such as requirement engineering, analysis and
design modeling, domain engineering, software architectures, evaluation and
metrics, modular Reasoning, patterns.

* Programming language, such as compilation and interpretation,
verification and static program analysis, formal languages and calculi,
execution environments & dynamic weaving, dynamic and scripting languages,
domain-specific languages.

* Related paradigms, such as context-orientation, model-driven development,
feature-orientation, generative programming, software product lines, traits,
meta-programming and reflection, contracts and components.

** Submission Requirements **

A tutorial proposal should contain the following information:

   1. About each Author:

      * Name

      * Contact information (affiliation, job title, postal address, email

      * Description (1000–3000 words describing the topic, why it is
important, educational goals, and a detailed outline including a syllabus
and time schedule)

      * Previous venues at which this tutorial has been presented, number of
participants and any rating information received

      * Required equipment for presentation

      * Required equipment for participants (for hands-on sessions)

** Submission Guidelines **

Proposals must be submitted in PDF format. Tutorial materials such as slides
and handouts should be included if available to show depth and maturity of
the tutorial, but are not required for submission.
