Introduction
======
The HumanCom-11 will be the most comprehensive conference focused on the
various aspects of human-centric computing for advances in computer science
and its applications. The
HumanCom-11 will provide an opportunity for academic and industry
professionals to discuss the latest issues and progress in the area of
human-centric computing.
In addition, the conference will publish high quality papers which are
closely related to the various theories and practical applications in
human-centric computing. Furthermore,
we expect that the conference and its publications will be a trigger for
further related research and technology improvements in this important
subject.
The HumanCom-11 is the next event, in a series of highly successful
International Conference on Human-centric Computing, previously held as
HumanCom-10, Philippines, August 2010 ;
CSA-09, Korea, December 2009 and CSA-08, Australia, October 2008.

Workshop proposals due: Feb. 25, 2011
Submission due: April 10, 2011
Author Notification: April 25, 2011
Final Manuscript Due: May 10, 2011
Conference: August 11-13, 2011
Submissions
===========
The conference and workshop proceedings will be published by Conference
Publishing Services. Papers not exceed 8 pages with free layout style should
be submitted via
http://cse.stfx.ca/~humancom2011/sub/ (Will be open on 1th., March)
And workshop submitted papers are within 4-8 pages. Submission of a paper
should be
regarded as a commitment that, if the paper be accepted, at least one of the
authors will register and attend the conference. Otherwise papers will be
removed from IEEE CS digital library. A selection of the best papers will
be published in special issues of some SCIE/EI indexed journals, including
- International Journal of Information Technology, Communications and
Convergence (IJITCC) - Inderscience
- Journal of Convergence (JoC) - FTRA Publishing
- Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS) -Springer
- Journal of Information Processing Systems (JIPS) - KIPS
Call for Workshops
===========
We encourage researches to submit their workshop proposals
(according to the guidelines available at HumanCom-11 web site to
Prof. Qun Jin (jin at waseda.jp) and Prof. Deqing Zou (deqingzou at hust.edu.cn)
with the subject "HumanCom-11 WORKSHOP PROPOSAL".
