I receive, as many of you, several announcements a day about conferences.

I dislike those that only report the acronym of the conference without 
explanation.
Not even looking at the web site one can find the definition of WoWMoM.

I assume that the acronym is known among the insiders in the field.
But then the announcement should be circulated just among them.
