Overview

--------------------------------------

The 2011 FTRA International Conference on Intelligent Robotics, Automations
and

Applications (IRoA-11), co-sponsored by FTRA will

be held in Gwangju, Korea, October 20-22, 2011. The IRoA is a major forum
for

scientists, engineers, and practitioners throughout the world to present the
latest re-

search, results, ideas, developments and applications in all areas of
intelligent robo-

tics and automations. Furthermore, we expect that the IRoA-11 and its
publications

will be a trigger for further related research and technology improvements
in this

important subject. The IRoA-11 is co-sponsored by FTRA.

In addition the conference is supported by KITCS and KIITFE.

Prospective

authors are invited, in the first instance, to submit papers for oral
presentations in any

of the areas of interest for this conference. Authors should submit a paper
with 4-6

pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references. If you want
to submit

more than page limitation, you can add up to 2 extra pages with the
appropriate fee

payment.

Please use the IEEE Conference Proceedings format (US letter size, available
for do-

wnload here: IEEE Manuscript Templates for Conference Proceedings) for
submission.

The Conference Proceedings will be published by IEEE Press (Pending)

and all papers of the proceedings will be included in the IEEE Xplorer
(Pending) (indexed in EI).

-----------------------------------------

We will organize some workshops. The workshop proposals should be submitted
to the Workshops Co-Chairs.

Workshops for presenting papers from industrial companies and papers on any
specific topics which can support the conference are very welcome. It is
expected that the proceedings of the workshop programs will be published by
IEEE Press (Pending). In general, a workshop takes one day, although
multiple-days and half-day workshops are welcome.

The workshop proposal should include following information:
