Postdoctoral Project Scientist

The Institute for Software Research has a full-time Project Scientist
position available in the area of software engineering with a focus on
information retrieval and data mining.

This position requires a Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering, Computer
Science or a closely related academic discipline. Prior research or work
experience in the following areas is desirable: empirical methods in
Software Engineering, data mining, and statistics.  A solid record of
research publications in related research areas is also required. The
successful applicant should have strong interpersonal and communication
skills, and should also be able to demonstrate the ability to work
independently.
