ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

The Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute invites applications for a
position as Associate Professor in software engineering with a focus
on the fundamentals of software life-cycle, life-cycle processes and
life-cycle modeling. The position is available starting January 1,
2014 or as soon as possible thereafter.

We seek an energetic and dynamic candidate with a holistic approach to
research and teaching in the fundamentals of software engineering,
with a focus on: software processes and modeling, software
architecture, software life-cycle modeling and software quality. The
candidate is expected to contribute to and profile the core
competences of our 5-year Master of Science program in software
engineering. Experience within the faculty strategic areas of energy,
production and welfare technology is considered an advantage.

Applicants for this position must have a Ph.D. degree closely related
to the above-mentioned teaching and research areas, and an outstanding
record of research and publication. The successful candidate is
expected to collaborate with existing faculty, and attract external
research funding in close collaboration with colleagues.

The appointee will be expected to participate in the normal
administrative, educational and professional activities of the
Department, Faculty and University.
