Dear colleagues,
we would like to draw your attention to a call for papers for the ASDENCA
Workshop collocated with 26th International Conference on Advanced
Information Systems Engineering (CAiSE), 16-20 June 2014 in
Thessaloniki/Greece (http://delab.csd.auth.gr/caise2014/)
Accepted papers will be published in the CAiSE 2014 Workshop Proceedings,
in Springer Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (LNBIP,
indexed in ISI Proceedings, DBLP, EI and Scopus).
We cordially invite original research contributions for this workshop
until March 1, 2014.

ASDENCA - International Workshop on Advances in Services DEsign based on
the Notion of CApabiliy
______________
The notion of capability is gaining much presence within the field of
Information Systems Engineering. Historically, it has been examined in
Economics, Sociology, and Management Science. More recently, it has been
considered in business-IT alignment, in the specification and design of
services using business planning as the baseline, in Enterprise
Architecture, and in Service Oriented Architecture.
We encourage the original research contributions exploring the challenges
and solutions related to the meaning and usage of capability in
Information Systems Engineering, as well as industrial case studies
illustrating the use of this notion. The topics are among but not limited
to:
Capability modelling
Evolving capabilities and capability-driven reengineering
Transferring capability knowledge from other domains to IS engineering
Capability elicitation, analysis and validation
Capability and business process
Capability and services
Evidence-based research in capability and capability-driven development
(grounded theory, experiment, case study, interview, questionnaire)
Organizational context and capability
Information system-enabled capability
Capability mining
Capability-driven information system testing
Case studies in capability use
Experiences in capability modeling and engineering
Capability management approaches
