The workshop series of RFIDsec Asia, the Asia branch of RFIDsec, aims to provide researchers, enterprises and governments a platform to investigate, discuss and propose new solutions on security and privacy issues of RFID technologies and applications. Papers with original research in theory and practical system design concerning RFID security are solicited. The proceeding of RFIDsec 2014 Asia will be published in the book series Cryptology and Information Security by IOS Press (http://www.iospress.nl/bookserie/cryptology-and-information-security-series/). This year’s workshop is held at Nov. 27 - Nov. 28, 2014, Hualien, Taiwan.

New applications for secure RFID, NFC and IoT (Internet of Things) systems
Data integrity and privacy protection techniques for RFID or NFC
Resource-efficient implementations of cryptography for RFID or NFC
Attacks and countermeasures on RFID or NFC systems
Data protection and privacy-aware techniques for RFID or NFC
Trust model, data aggregation and information sharing for EPCglobal network
RFID based cryptographic protocols
Integration of secure RFID systems (e.g. infrastructures, middleware and security)
Data mining and other systemic approaches to RFID security
RFID hardware security

Paper Submission 
All papers must be electronically submitted in the PDF format via the website https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=rfidsec14asia by August 6, 2014. Papers should not exceed 12 pages following the IOS article templates (http://www.iospress.nl/service/authors/latex-and-word-tools-for-book-authors/). Each submitted paper should be original work, has not previously published and does not contain anything that is libelous, illegal or infringing any copyright.
