Time for the annual *European Computer Science Summit - ECSS 2017*, to 
be held in Lisbon (October 23-25), is approaching fast.

This year's main theme of the conference is /*"Informatics Connects!"*/. 
The Summit will not be short of inspiration and stimulation. It will 
feature talks on selected “hot” topics related to connectivity, examples 
of successful stories and engaging panel discussions. The Summit is of 
interest to anyone with a stake in the future of Informatics Research, 
Education and Innovation. Deans, Heads of Departments, Professors, 
Researchers, Policymakers are all most welcome to attend. For more

and practical strategies for Heads in Informatics education & research.
