The International Conference on Data and Knowledge Engineering (ICDKE) is a leading international forum for researchers, developers, and end-users to explore cutting-edge ideas and results, and to exchange techniques. The missions of ICDKE are to share novel research solutions to problems of today's information society that fulfill the needs of heterogeneous applications and environments and to identify new issues and directions for future research and development work. ICDKE seeks submissions from academia and industry presenting research on all practical and theoretical aspects of advanced data-intensive applications, data and knowledge engineering as well as case studies and implementation experiences. All topic areas related to data and knowledge engineering are of interest and in scope. ICDKE gives researchers and practitioners a unique opportunity to share their perspectives with others interested in the various aspects of engineering.
The scope of ICDKE will be broad and will encompass diverse topics in data and knowledge management. The topics of interest to ICDKE include (but are not limited to):

Submission Guidelines
To submit your paper, please go to the submission page. Submitted papers must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or that are simultaneously submitted to a journal or a conference with proceedings. Papers must be clearly presented in English, must not exceed 8 pages, including tables, figures, references and appendixes, in IEEE CS proceedings 8.5" x 11" Two-Column Format, with Portable Document Format (.pdf). Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Submission of a paper should be regarded as a commitment that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work.
ICDKE 2010 and IEEE reserve the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore and EI index) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
