The Laboratory for Software Design in the Department of Computer Science at the Iowa State University is offering a postdoctoral position in programming languages and software engineering, with an emphasis on design, semantics, implementation, and rigorous empirical evaluation of implicitly concurrent programming language Panini (http://paninij.org).

Applicants to this position must have received their PhD, or completed the requirements for their PhD, when the appointment begins.

* Application deadline: May 1, 2012 for full consideration.   The position will remain open until filled.

* Start date: As soon as possible

* Duration: 1-2 years, depending on availability of funds
