Data Science Lab (DSL) is engaged in research and training programs.
Research in DSL involves design of intelligent algorithms and development
of decision making models to form risk management systems, personalized
diagnosis and patient treatment systems, and process modeling systems. DSL
invites applications for a one-year full-time Post-doctoral research
position to work in projects in collaboration with our industry partners.
The position is subject to final budgetary approval.

Qualifications

The position requires a PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Mining/
Machine Learning, or closely related area. The successful candidate is
expected to perform empirical data analysis, develop algorithms, writing
publications, and presenting at conferences, working with a team of
graduate and undergraduate students as well as industry partners,
identifying and following through on new grant opportunities, and other
aspects of academic scholarship.

Candidates should have a strong background in data mining involving big
data, with established track record of publishing in key conferences and
workshops, as well as familiarity with and ideally experience with
industrial data analysis and machine learning.
