Dear colleagues,

We have received many individual requests for extensions and we are also
interested in ensuring a high quality technical program. Therefore we have
decided to extend the special track submission deadline to 30 January 2014.
Meanwhile, if possible, please still register your paper by 15 January
2014. This will help us to prepare reviewer assignment earlier and to
ensure the review quality.

Keep up the good work in finalizing your submissions. We look forward to
your paper submissions!

Best regards and thanks,
NOMS 2014 Special Track Chairs

  Krakow, Poland, 5-9 May 2014

(Paper Submission Date: 30 January 2014)

Cloud and network analytics can harness the immense stream of operational
data from clouds and networks, and can perform analytics
processing---possibly in-network, possibly in real-time---to improve fault,
performance, and security management. As the premier venue on network and
cloud management, IEEE/IFIP Network Operations and Management Symposium
(NOMS 2014) debuts a special track on Data Centric Cloud and Network
Management to be held in Krakow, Poland, 5-9 May 2014. As part of the main
technical sessions, this special track will provide a dedicated and timely
venue for presenting and publishing the latest results in cloud and network

Topics of Interest

• Networks and cloud analytics
• Social data for management
• Analyzing logs and operational data for management tasks
• Data-centric management of clouds and software defined networks
• Data-centric management of virtualized infrastructure
• Data-centric data center management
• Storage systems and networks
• Real-time analytics
• Data mining and machine learning for management
• Statistical modeling, queueing theory, control theory, and optimization
