The School of Computer Science and Technology at the Huazhong University
of Science and Technology invites outstanding individuals to apply for
several faculty positions at the rank of assistant or associate or full

The prospective applicant should have a PhD or postdoctoral experience.
We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in embedded
systems, pervasive and mobile computing & networking, as well as
parallel and distributed computing, and especially those who bridge two
or more of these areas. Moreover, applicants must have potential or
proven ability to carry out independent research work. In addition,
excellent communication and teaching skills are also required.

The successful applicants will join the newly established Embedded and
PervasIve Computing Lab (EPICLab). High level research
will be conducted in the lab, and the academic atmosphere is free and
open. In particular, the salary and startup package are very
competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is a national
key university directly under the administration of the Ministry of
Education of China, and is among the first Universities joining the
